從全新第七代CHEVROLET Corvette Stingray在Barrett-Jackson Orange County auction拍賣會中，以110萬美金（約新台幣3333萬元）的決標價格賣出，並全數捐獻給The College for Creative Studies（美國汽車設計學校－創意研究學院）後，美國當地跑車似乎吹起了一股公益熱。連全新第六代FORD Mustang的首輛新車也以30萬美元（約新台幣909萬元）的身價拍出，亦全數贊助Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation（全球青少年糖尿病研究基金會）。
