民進黨北市議員參選人王威中17日帶團隊到捷運市府站，要摹仿國民黨北市長參選人連勝文16日由3位穿競選背心的市議員參選人陪同搭捷運的情形。捷運站工作人員原勸阻王威中人馬進入，雙方爭執後，站方同意其放行，但提醒不能從事選舉活動；王威中選擇不進入捷運站，批評北捷「一套法規、兩套標準」，法律遇到權貴就轉彎。
