馬航搜索區 險惡海象恐持續

搜尋馬來西亞航空公司失蹤客機的作業今天因惡劣天候喊停，航空安全顧問表示，南印度洋搜尋區域冬季已近，屆時暴風雨會使這個區域長達8個月無法展開作業。

英國「每日郵報」網站（MailOnline）報導，受惡劣天候影響，負責搜尋失蹤馬航MH370班機的澳洲成功艦（HMAS Success）和所有飛機都已奉命離開搜尋區。

澳洲西部海岸2500公里外的南印度洋，南極冷鋒在此遇到溫暖熱帶空氣，形成不穩定和危險的天候狀況，預計在接下來數週及數月，將嚴重影響馬航MH370的搜尋作業。

航空安全顧問湯瑪斯（Geoffrey Thomas）今天說：「巨大冷鋒正移近，在此造成巨浪、豪雨，雲層很低。」

他說：「冬季正要開始。像今天這樣的天氣情況在這個海洋區域將會每天發生，冬季長達8個月。」

他表示，可能要好幾年才會找到黑盒子。他說：「如果飛機駕駛要自殺，你無法找到比這裡更好的地方，讓人永遠找不到。」
